For those of you on livery (and livery owners too I guess), I just wonder how much provision there is on your yard to accommodate serious injury or illness to a horse that might require box rest, special arrangements in terms of turnout, etc? Do you have/offer, for example, a starvation paddock available for a horse that may be in recovering stages of laminitis, or small turnout areas for horses recovering from lameness, surgery, periods of box rest for when they can start having small scale turnout but without being out in a big group or large field where they may charge about and do more damage to themselves?
