How much Rescue Remedy to use?

Can anyone advise how much rescue remedy I should give to my 16.3 warmblood. Also when is the best time to give it to him, he gets very ring shy and tense and nervous sj but only in competition. I have tried it before but not sure if I gave enough or too early as it didn't have any affect.

Didnt realise you can give it to horses aswell. I take loads myself, but might think aboout giving my boy some. Do you just put it in some feed?

You can put it on an apple, in water etc, I'm not sure though if they need more than humans though because of their size. I have found out that his previous owners used to give it to him so it must work for him I just have got to get the amount and timing right.

i used to give mine a full pippett thing that u get in the pot about 30 mins b4 idid whatever it was i needed to do i also just squirted straightinto his mouth!! he didn't mind goodluck

I normally give him a pipette full in an apple and they seem to be effective. Great stuff for me too!
