I'm putting one of my horses up for share. Got two people interested at the moment. My horse is 15hh cob mare, 14yo, lovely responsive ride, sensible, big jump etc etc, jumps available, no menage but schooling and jumping field, good hacking.
The 1st girl (she's 16) wants to come every sunday (so only once a week) with her mum (who use to own her own horse), ride and do the chores (which is only tack cleaning, poo picking, grooming as mare lives out at the moment). what would you charge?
The 2nd person is a 22yo lady who wants to come 2-3 times a week, she can come in the day as she works from home. She also looking to ride and do chores (well i should say she doesnt mind doing the chores!) How much would you charge?
The reason for the share is the contribution would help me a lot also i dont have much time esp now with the darker nights. The mare may be stabled and clipped if the share works out.
The 2nd person is coming to view the mare tomorrow but i just dont know what to ask for contribution wise - any ideas?

i don't really know but what if you added up all the costs divide by 7 charge girl 1 for 1 day and girl 2 for 3 days and you pay the other 3 day if you will still be riding her

There's some horses up my yard on part loan. One is one day a week and they are charged £40 / month. The other is 3 day a week and they are charged £90/ month (think it's going up to £100 shortly). The pony on 1 day a week is hardly ridden any other time, the 3 day a week is ridden by the owner on the other days.
