How much should I charge

I am based in Pembrokeshire and have just been given the go ahead by my inlaws to build some new stables. There will be 3 spare ones so was just wondering how much I should be charging for them. I will have a round pen and turnout 24/7 as much as possible but it gets very wet here. The stables are going to be inside a old cubicle building so bedding costs will be minimal due to the flooring being rubber mats over slats. (No wee build up). I am about most of the day so will be able to offer mucking out, turnout, bringing in, holding for the farrier, feeding etc. Please can you give me an idea on a basic diy rate and then how much for the extras. Oh the haylage will be included in the basic price but not bedding.

Thanks

I charge £25 a week for 24/7 turnout , a stable and Hay.

I also charge £70 for part /assisted livery, this includes bedding and basic feed any supplements are paid for by my liveries.

That sounds cheap!
But it depends on the area and demands.
Basic 24/7 grazing and use of arena is £65 a month here or with stable £110 a month.
Extras about £5 to muck out bring in turn out about £2.

I'm in Maenclochog. I was thinking £22 with haylage included. We have a feed shop on site for buying feed and shavings from. Then £5 for mucking out £2.50 for turnout/bringing in including doing rugs. I can also offer lunging and clipping.

Hi other Pembrokeshire people :)
I have a friend who pays £20 for stable and individual turnout, that doesn't include hay or bedding though and I think the facilities are pretty limited.
I remember someone telling me once about when they were on livery the YO charged 50p for every job, change the rug, 50p, t/o, 50p, give feed, 50p, give haynet, 50p, pick feet out, etc.. Apparently that worked well because clients thought "oh, it's only 50p.." and by the time the jobs were all done it was working out at a few quid a day and it soon added up. Not sure how feasible that would be now though, as she said it was years ago she was doing that.

I love your profile pic. My old horses loved the pigs too they figured out there was usually food in the pig paddock.

Thank you :)
When we tell people we have pigs and horses everyone thinks we're mad, they all think the horses must be terrified of them, but they get on great :D

im south wales and pay 120 per month diy to include hay but no bedding, but we do have a sandschool and good hacking which makes a difference, if you dont have a sandschool but good hacking i would say around 80 per month for stable/hay/grass
