She is by San Remo (Sandro Hit x donnerhall) and her mother is Ruiz Soler (Rubenstien) x Weltmeyer

I think ive overpriced though - what do you think?? honest opinions wanted please

I think at the moment that that is a question like ' how long is a piece of string?' IF the market were 'normal' and not going into recession, then I would say that £6.5k is fair however at the moment nothing much is selling as people don't have the money. Ok....the BIG priced horses that are competing/soon to compete at top level are still selling for big bucks...maybe not as big as in previous years but still decent prices. The low end of the market horses are still selling as well, however with the youngsters like Athena and our own foals, etc. then I just don't know what to say about advertising them as they are just not shifting....I think the average person at the moment is just loathe to spend money on a horse they won't be able to do anything with for another 3 years......sorry I can't be of more help...

Agree with eventrider23 sadly, not the right time to be selling foals & people don't seem to be 'storing' horses now. You only have to look at the brightwells auctions to see that not everything is selling & not at good prices

Not what you want to hear but I think £4500 - £5000?

For what it is worth I think she is totally & utterly stunning. Will she be a liver chestnut? I think that if you get interest & people coming to see her then she will sell - it is just a matter of getting the calls in the first place.

Good luck

I agree people just arnt spending on foals but she is lovely, not a future breeding mare for you to keep then?

maybe in a couple of years then i would have but the whole purpose at the moment was to breed her to sell - i dont really compete dressage so no need for me to keep her i already have the others and my current total is at 9 !!! with mare back in foal for next year !! eeek

see i was thinking around the 5k mark xx I would rather sell her now at weaning to x

She is gorgeous! I suppose in the current market you might have to drop the price a bit - a shame as she should be worth every penny of what you asking, with her looks and breeding.

thank you so much - I guess selling her for less now instead of keeping her through the winter will be best x

She is lovely and if I was to purchase a chestnut, it would be a liver one every time.

The market is really bad at the moment, unfortunately for all those who have put time and money into producing some lovely babies this season.

I would love her but unfortunately no money at the moment and OH needs a replacement first - I've got about £8.50 in my wallet but I wouldn't let her go for that

No idea at all on current value though but have to say she is utterly gorgeous

I would put her at about the 4,500 - 5,000 mark too, only on what the market is like at the moment, especially if you really want her gone before the winter.

honest i think with the market like it is 4k(but a horse is only worth what someone wants to pay) someone may have her for 6,5 k but i think if you lowered the price it may? attract more people i just saw a nice filly on horsemart for just a little over 3k its a buyers market at the mo no ones got any money and if they have i think they are too scared to spend it
