Depending on how Haddy goes at Novice level, we may be selling him at the end of the season - if he isn't the horse to take me JRN/poss YRs then I need to move on. I have 2 more years funded by the mother and want to go as far as possible in that time.
So if he can keep up the xc, sj well and pull out a half decent test at novice then we will keep him - if he isn't a novice horse then he will have to be sold. So, here are his stats:
8 year old
16.1
By Miners Lamp out of Haddon Sitric Symbol
He is great to box/catch/clip etc etc
He has done a bit of everything: hunted, bsja (on a ticket), won at prelim BD, pony club teams, PC camp, evented.
He would be a brilliant lead team chase horse of ladies hunter - he hunts in a snaffle and goes first or last, waits to jump etc and is very mannerly.
He is very easy to do, chilled in the stable, lets you fuss him all day long. Would live in or out.
He has brilliant paces, with a huge trot! works well on the flat with decent lateral work. His marks on paper (apart from our BD win and one or two eventing scores) don't really reflect how he works at home - it just doesn't happen for me at the moment!
He has the most enormous jump, with scope to die for but is so bold and if he is allowed to bowl on can get a bit flat - if he is kept together he jumps brilliantly!
Now the SJing is only just coming together and he has not got a great SJ record but hopefully we have turned the corner on that!

Can't really think of anything else to include
He is a really safe horse, hacks alone and in company, has never bucked or reared and doesn't spook. I love him to bits and hope he proves himself at Nov. but if he doesn't then I think it's best that he goes
Anyway, what's he worth? I was thinking it might even be worth aiming him more at the teamchase/hunt if he is a failed event horse
