How much time do you spend at the yard?

As title really. I have three on DIY and think I spend 3 maybe 4 hours a day there in the winter (split am/PM including riding).

I also work about 9-10 hours a day atm so my social life is in tatters....

I work 8am - 5:45pm (including travel time) and spend about 45 mins in morning and 30 mins in evening (if I go up at all as friend brings in). I'm not doing much with him at the moment but if I lunge, add 30 mins in evening.
 
I'm not spending a lot of time there at the minute - I like to spend at least 4-5 hours a day there (2 on DIY), but as we are doing up the house we just bought I'm only getting to spend about 3 hours a day there. Add 45 mins for riding, but with the weather like it is I've not been as dedicated as normal

When they are both in work though I don't think I'll be needing the house - don't know why we're bothering really! lol
 
At the moment I have 2 at different yards. One is on DIY and one is on working, the idea was that i would spend less time with the horses and more time to concentrate on my college work, but that hasn't happened...I now spend the same amount of time at the DIY yard sorting out Alisha plus I spend time at the college with Jigsaw, probably spend about 5hrs a day in total at both yards

One on full livery some days and DIY other days (depending on work). Spend 40ish mins travelling there and back and about 2hours each night riding and loving and 3hours or so if I am doing the mucking out etc. Manage to spend most of my weekend there much to my partner's disgust. Much rather be there in the wet and cold and wind than be stuck in this office any day!
 
I used to spend every spare minute I had at the yard so 4.30 to 7.30ish in the week and about 9 til 7 at the weekend

but since I've been at uni I'm only there 30mins if I don't ride and 1.5hrs if I ride. It's amazing how much quicker you can be if you cut out all the unnecessary faffing around

Wow, how do some of you guys have enough hours in the day?!?
We have 3 horses and a pony on DIY/grass - luckily all except my gelding live out. I reckon on an hour in the mornings tops - feed, muck out, turn out, hay the live-out ones, then home to change and leave for work at 8. Evenings, get home at about 6.15 to collect dog, then probably another 45 mins at yard to fetch in, feed, check over and hay all the live out ones including the horse that shares the paddock with our pony. If I'm riding/lunging add another 30/45 mins to the evening or the morning if I'm really good!!
Weekends, I tend to get there by about 8 and leave around lunchtime having ridden at least 1, if not 2 of them
Luckily oir yard isn't huge and several people don't work so are there during the day, so not too much time wasted gossiping in the evenings! Usually only me and 1 or 2 other people there, all trying to get as much done in as short a time as possible!!
Also lucky that my gelding pretty clean, takes 10 mins to do a full muck out (shavings and matting). Yard is about 7 mins drive from home!
 
Far too long seeing as I onkly have 1 horse.
I spend 4 hours at the yard in the morning, doing my 1 horse!
Then in the evening I can spend anything from 1/2 an hour up to 2 hours depending on how many cups of tea I have

Not enough time in the week. I don't have access to the school pm at the moment, so am not riding. I also feel a little 'pressurised' not to linger this time of year in the evenings. I am DIY, but at a friends, rather than a 'yard'. Horses get done, and then lights out - more or less regardless of what you are doing.

Im up for 1-2 hrs on an evening after work (hes on part livery) to pick feet out / check over / clean mud fever etc etc!! Then weekends most of the day - riding, cleaning tack, mucking out, giving him a makeover etc.

Hes a great horse to be around so he gets cuddles and kisses too (does any1 do that or am i just sad?!)!!!!
 
I'm on DIY so I drop the children at school and then spend about 2-3hrs each day on just one horse. Someone else kindly feeds for me in the evenings as it's difficult to get back down again. I pay for her to be mucked out and done in the mornings at the weekend as just too much demand on my time elsewhere but I go down and put her to bed which seems to take around 2hrs!
 
Ummm not too long well depends! In the week it depends what shifts i'm working,if i do a morning and afternoon shift i go up about 12 (lunch break) to hay and feed,mare has moved to a field further away from yard and to get to it it's a nightmare on foot but i walk my dogs whilst haying etc as they stay in my car while i work the afternoon shift so kills two birds.If i work an afternoon and evening shift i come up at 9.30 after dropping little boy to school i bring in,ride/lunge/have lesson,feed,hay then leave at about 12 to go to work,i don't come up in the evenings most nights now as a friend at the yard feeds my mare cos i don't finish work till 7pm, homes quite far and traffic is always dreadful so get home for 7.45 ish. If for some reason i don't get down in the day time i do go up after work to do her but then don't get home till 10pm and then i'm not popular with OH,i never see him much and it really frustrates him!
