What's the average price to castrated. Been quoted £190 seems a lot when that was the price of my colts job two summers ago?

Every thing here in Sussex seems pricey though :(

Still might try and leave him the full year if I can but need to start looking into it. Never had dog castrated before so new area for me.

I had mine done a couple of months back, it was £150. Should've been closer to £120 but one hadn't dropped, so they had to go searching for it.

Been quoted from about £110-200 from two different vets. I think the main cost is the anaesthesia so it does depend on the weight of the dog. I think my reply to the pricey vets was " But thats how much the dog itself cost! He hasnt got knackers made from gold!"

Had Diesel done Feb/Mar he was microchipped at the same time and also had nails trimmed all for £160 which I thought was brill.

The price of op is all to do with weight the heavier the dog the more it costs, Diesel weighed 37kg.

Another vet quoted me £180 that was without microchipping.

Bear the Border was 'adjusted' on Wednesday, and the cost, including microchipping was €181.

I'll leave you guys to work out the conversion rate! :p:D

We were quoted €180-€200, not including chipping, by another practice.

That's reminded me, mine was micro chipped also ... at a discounted rate.
As somebody else said, size of dog makes a difference, mine weighed 5kg.
