How much would you charge/pay to have your horse broken and schooled?

Have just sold my pony to some nice people who want to send me another one to break and school on for them so how much should I ask per week?

I'm sending mine away for schooling and it's costing me £250 pw full livery. Hope that helps!

We will miss her, she is lovely..hope she settles in to her new home.

As for what to charge for the next one - you can either charge by the week, or quote to get the job done, assuming 3 weeks, and take a risk on it maybe taking an extra week

how nice that they would like you to school their horse.

I have looked at training livery for my 2 year old and been quoted anything from £65 p/w for full livery including training, £90 for grass livery and training 3x week to £150 p/w. However I suspect the breaking costs more than normal training livery.

it is a nice idea to qute for getting the job done, though 3 weeks sounds quite short? I thought 5-6 weeks was normal?

thanks guys

Yeah the last one was easy (If only I was still young enough for Pony club!).

This one has been backed (briefly) so hopefully only needs a few crinkles ironing out
