How much to geld?

Hi , Looking to purchase colt foal , but not sure how much it will cost me to geld him. He is just under a year old and will have it done at home. I live in Chesterfield , Derbyshire. Does anyone have any idea's on the price? Was suggested somewhere between £100 to £250 , would that be correct?

Best to ask your vet how much they would charge. I pay abbot £200 for it to be done standing.

Depends on where you are tbh.
Here in Hampshire I paid £250 per colt. One was done standing, one was a knock out. No price difference.
Vets up the road charge £180 but mine was an "all in", so had they needed antibiotics (which one did) it cost no extra.

It was about 2 years ago and from memory was about £140 for a 5/6 month old foal, done standing up, can't remember if there was a call out fee ontop of that or not though.
