I have a 15.2hh 9yo mare I'm looking to put on the market in the spring, but i have no idea how much to advertise her for. She was started at 7 so had plenty of time to mature, has competed SJ up to 1m, local shows inc working hunter, dressage up to prelim with basic lateral work at home, schooled xc showing great attitude. Planning to hunt this winter too and compete in some local dressage/SJ leagues. shes super sweet, a forward ride but responsive, sound and no vices. she hacks alone and in company no problems.
Basically an ideal RC/ fun all rounder/ best friend for a competent rider. great to handle, farrier, vet load etc. Easy keeper and a lovely person to have around.

Any ideas what kind of price bracket would be most suitable?

Who knows where the economy will be by spring. Obviously it's usually a better time to buy a horse but if people are under even more pressure sales and prices will still be under pressure.

I think 10-12k sounds reasonable right now. All you can do is look for similar and price accordingly. A good ad helps, excellent pics and good videos. If advertising on Facebook please put location, it's driving me insane!

Depends a lot on her type/confo/movement and how well she has been done. If she is a nice easy ride and competitive for an amateur then 15k ish.
If she is a bit more common, takes some riding and isn’t really going anywhere then 5k ish.
Or somewhere in between depending on the variables
