How much would any of you estimate it will cost me to get to AI level?

Have a look on the BHS website and get all the prices for the exams (Riding and Road Safety, Stage one, two and three riding and care and PTT) then look up how much it is to register on the list of instructors too - that is the minimum it will cost you.
You will then need to think about re takes if you fail on anything and the fees will go up over time. Also getting to the exams, you may have to travel around a bit.
Then you will need to think about the training, are you working in the industry at the moment? You will need lessons on all types of horses and from all different types of instructors to gain experience. You would need to practise teaching and coaching with a variety of people of all abilities.
Do lots of research yourself, anything to do with horses as it all helps and read the stages books, they are fab.
