How much will my pony grow?

I have a Welsh D X Arab mare. She’s currently 5 (just turned in late April), she’s measured as just 13.2 a month ago (137cm) but has grown a cm (she’s now a good 138). What sort of height will she get to or is that it? Heard of many peoples horses growing a whole hand by the time they are 7, hopefully my mare will!!

She might grow a bit but I wouldn't be expecting a 5yr old to grow at all I'm afraid

Some breeds - typically the heavy horse types - are late developers and continue to grow in thier 6's. But not many. That said our Connie (not normally a slow growing breed) put on a hand between 5 and 7 - but mostly he muscled up and filled out from his leggy baby self to a really powerful horse so some or all of that might have come more from better self carriage than true growth. Neither welsh D's nor Arabs are traditionally slow growing - but you never know!
