Hi there

So i'm on my way back after three years in the USA. I bought my horse directly from the stud in Holland, his sire is Concorde and he is rising 10. Before I left the UK we did BN, DC and NC, can't remember our winnings but we were out of BN. In the USA I have worked very hard with great trainers and transistioned to Eventing, in our first season we won our area division (approx 7 states and u had to qualify). It was at training level which I think is the same as pre-novice. I'll be doing novce and fox when I get back. I also did a year of jumpers in the USA around the 1.20 mark. However we jump him 1.50 sometime at home as he loves it.

So he is 16H2 (I think) really bomb proof, will jump anything with almost anyone on his back. Dressage is a work in process but we do a passable shoulder in, haunches in, and he will work consistantly in a frame and show not bad lengthengs.

I hope not to have to sell him, however I will need to get a job pronto on our return.

Thanks for the opinions

Have a look at www.foxmeadowfarms.shutterfly.com and then open the Hill and hound album for Fiona

Thanx

Is it too late to sell him in the USA? Because prices there are literally triple what they would be in the UK, So you would get a lot more for your money! I dont know what USA prices are for eventers but I do know that they are vastly disproportinate to the UK!

In the Uk, I would say about £10k ?

He's a beautiful looking horse - looks rather unbalanced in some of the photos(?).

No idea about price really - but agree with OB, try selling him in the US. You'll get more money quite probably, and will save yourself the expense of flying him home.

I agree, about £10 - £12K asking price although if you could get some good result in the UK this season you might get more.

Thanx. I really don't want to sell him, and as long as I can get a job before my savings run out (or Dads goodwill) I will try and make a plan somehow, as he's the best horse I've ever had.

Thanx
