As title really, I was just wondering how much you think would be reasonable to pay to rent a couple of acres grazing and two stables?

I have posted recently about perhaps moving my horse and looking after him myself and I have potentially been offered the above but not sure if the amount they have said is reasonable or not so thought I would ask you :-)

Thanks!

I rented one acre split into two post and railed paddocks, three stables with lights/hardstanding/leccy etc for £70 a month near Norwich.

Wow! All of the suggestions above seem really cheap to me! Assuming that there was water on site, then in this neck of the woods you'd be paying around £200 month for 2 stables and 2 acres. (Then again, Beaconsfield is famous for being one of the most expensive parts of the country to live in - and hence why I only own a tiny studio flat!) Seeing as OP is in Norfolk, I should imagine costs would be significantly less.

ive got 2.5 acres split into 2 paddocks with post & rail plus one large stable & a woodchip area for turnout in foul weather/lunging on (its only 20ft x 20ft so cant do anything faster than trot in it) i also have on site water/electrics & survalience cameras filming 24/7 (owners of house are big on security)
all this for £20 a week, we are on cambs/lincs border.

QR - Thanks everyone! It is interesting to hear the differences in what people pay. The grazing I have been offered isn't of the 'best' quality but there are two new stables. It is split into 3 paddocks and i'm not sure if there is water but don't think there is electricity. They have said it will be about £100 a month. I thought this seemed a little bit expensive as from looking around at DIY yards which would obviously have more facilities it wouldn't be much more than this.....
