For grass livery?

We have a 2-acre field that a lady is going to rent over the winter - how much should we charge her??

Its a good field, hedged, with field shelter and area outside shelter lined and chipped to protect against poaching. Water trough (obviously!!), trees for shelter.

We're in the south west. What do you recommend?

im in cornwall, i rent a 2.5 acre field with water and somewhere to keep tack, feed etc.. it has trees for shelter all round and i pay 8pound a week each for mine,

sorry my pound sign isnt working for some reason!!!

Thank you everyone! Didn't want to suggest anything silly but think £15 a week (going down to £12/wk minimum if queried) will not be far wrong then! Is for one pony who will graze field in rotation.

Hope your pound sign gets better!!

I'm in the midland and rent 5 1/2 acres for £30a week with my own 12x12 field shelter, and original 12x36 shelter split into 3, one for stable (not really used) one for hay and one as feed room. Surrounded by trees, and great security as farm houses are right opposite, have no electricity or water but fill a bowser on the farm which is also opposite. The farmers and there lads are great too, always there to helpand keep a look out.

Grass only livery on our yard is £10 per week. Grazing is not brilliant and although the fields are huge you do have to share them with lots of horses.

However if I was renting a filed all to myself I would be expecting to pay around £15-20 per horse for good grazing.

sorry but i think £15pw per horse is expensive for just grass. i pay £10pw grass with hay included and use of tackroom sandschool etc.
