If someone asked you to keep an eye on their pony and just check it over etc while they went away for around a fortnight how much would you expect to be payed?
Have been asked to do so and asked how much I want for doing it. I said nothing but they'ed like to give me something. So if they do ask me how much what would you, personally, say?

Thanks for any help and chocolate brownies for all

No nothing, other than perhaps a bit of poo picking i suppose. Like I said I'm not really worried about her paying but she's like too.

I do this for the 'Lady' of the manor on her daughters 2 ponies & Donkey. I usually get a distress call that they are stuck in traffic & can I get them in.

I usually bring them in & through a feed at them (stables already mucked out)
Usually takes me 30min to do them & get £5 a time. Sometimes a bottle of wine or a quaint pressie if they are away for the week.

As much as I love the wine idea, I'm not 'legaly' allowed it for a few months yet

Have offered to ride it a bit aswell, but don't expect anything for that. Chocolate sounds like a good way to go though!

That sounds like a good plan! I love the pony to bits (I rode him last year and changed from wild field pony to little show pony) so I love looking after him
