For hiring out a manège?
It's an outdoor arena with good floodlights and rubber surface (60x25)..
Mum's trying to find a way of earning extra pennies so thought I would post as neither of us have any idea what kind of price you would charge?!

Thanks

Just a bit of advice.... be careful about advertising it for hire. I'm not 100% sure on all the facts but a personal use menage shouldn't be hired out for money making. Sure someone else can shed the light on this legally.

Yes that's right - I think you'd need to get change of use from the council as it would come under commercial

I'd agree that about £10 per hour is right. I recently paid £20 for 1 1/2 hours, two of us and a full set of showjumps/fillers.

well i would say £5 an hour as we can hire out a place with masses of arenas, sjs and xc for just £10 per horse for as long as you want so could be the whole day!

The council change in our area is high for changing to 'hiring out' that's wh we stuck with private as it wasn't viable for us to hire when we weren't there and we wouldn't be in enough to make it pay

My YO charges £5 an hour for use of her school to non-liveries.
It's not guaranteed private use though, especially in the evenings. The school is flood lit, sand/rubber and 45 x 45m and has jumps available.
