Working as a full time rider? 5 day week, one day off at weekend and one on weekday, working 8-5, riding youngsters, schooling and producing horses for competing, BD, BSJA and occasional BYEH and PAVO. Purely working, nothing else in package, no accom/livery/lessons or anything. How much would you expect to be coming out with weekly?!

Any suggestions HUGELY appreciated...

hope this help

Depends if you want to be paid per horse or by the hour! If it's hourly then min wage. If its per horse depends on the level you are at and the horse, schooling/hacking or competing!
I work freelance and depends on circumstances but i charge anything from £7.50 (for 45min hack) to £25 for 40 min SJ schooling

Just wanted to add that I read it as being employed full time by someone as a stable jockey and NOT as a freelance rider...thus my minimum wage comment

Yes that will be the arrangement, not freelance unfortunately.... WOuld be competing at low level affiliated for horses to be sold on....

I too read it to be an employed situation rather than freelance and to be honest dont think you would be paid much more than the minimum wage.

Thinking of it logically it is the cheapest way for an owner of several horses to get a rider. If they pay the hourly rates some have quoted it would cost them a fortune!
