To haggle a horse that is advertised for 4995 to? Am currently on the lookout for a new horse, fingers crossed all will go well on tuesday (someone viewing my horse) will be able to crack on and get one for myself. The horse in question needs schooling etc not done anything regards comp wise.

What would you try haggle them down to, well I mean whats the lowest you would offer?

hi,im in the same boat, going to look at one on sun for 4.5k, im really nervous about haggling! i would say it depends on its potential to do comps etc and how old it is. everyone has advised me to go in really low because people are finding it hard to sell at the moment. how do you haggle though without sounding like a cheap skate!? im scared of getting told to b****r off!

Well I got told to start low through the fact that nothing is selling, and people have said people put horses on for more they are worth to be haggled anyway, my mum and dad can do the haggling.
I would have no idea how to say oh will you take such amount lol.

Depends how much you like the horse! I would probably try adn get it for £4.5k, but it depends if you thinks it's reasonably priced. Have to say though I'm not the best at this and once paid £2250 for a horse advertised at £2000
