£8 where I am for about 1/2 hour walk. Luckily my house is directly opposite field so all 3 dogs get a full 1/2 off the lead running. I just use the dog walker when I'm on holiday/away.
It can cost a lot of money here--about $40 an hour. I like the idea of this service which, if I was back in England, and being a runner, I would be tempted to set up myself in my spare time!
My parents live in Lancashire, and I believe the going rate for dog walking in their area is about 10 quid an hour, maybe a little more.
I can bet all of you...£18 for 1/2 hr but just found one which charges £5 for 1 hr which is great...can not believe the cheek of some people who charge a fortune for a service they know people rely on...I havent used the expensive people since..They quoted £20 a day to look at my horses....this would be due to them having to charge a full day as they would have to drive to my horses and this would be in the afternoon once they had finished walking!
the lady who looks after Minnie when we go away costs £20 a day/night so that seems quite cheep compared to an hourly rate, and she is happy to have Minnie in bed with her!
