As title really...
My horse is having a few months off for a healing injury so i've turned him out 24/7, the field has a few other horses in it and an automatic water however not much shade and no field shelter. YO checks her horses daily and would tell me if there was anything wrong with mine but I come up once a day to check him too. It is at the end of a long bumpy lane so is quite secure. Oh and I'm in the middle of Cornwall.
How much do you pay for grass livery and what do you get? Been told it's £15 a week so just wondered if this is a good price or not :)
Ta

i paid £20/week and he had absolutely loads of grass, secure post and rail fencing, haylage through the winter etc.

I pay £15 a week - which is a good price for what else some places try to get away with charging. Only downside is one of the two paddocks I use doesn't have a water trough so requires lugging buckets - but worth it for the price!

Sounds about right to me. My yard is £15 a week, there is shade but no water so have to lug water buckets up every day.

i pay £10 per week per horse, very long grass (i cant see my 11h'er for it) no fencing, water, electric, shelter ect. but we keep an eye on each others horses & its a lovley quiet area with no bitching or yard polaitcs (been there, done that)
