Rhino full neck stable rug, second hand, has been repaired before (small patch) and has a tiny hole near shoulder that would need repairing. Clean. The velcro on neck also doesnt work.

nothing - its 2nd hand - i could never be sure that the rug was free from infection.

What like chicken poks!! Lucky you if all you can afford is new rugs. I've never bought a 2nd hand rug that's had ' an infection' but only ever buy rugs that has been professionally washed if they are 2nd hand anyway.

If it's the heavy weight stable rug and the repaires/rug wash costs under £15.00 then anything up to £15.00 would be reasonable really, if you consider how much they are brand new.

i bought 2 second hand amigo m/w rugs, they'd been professionally cleaned and not a mark etc to them. looked brand new. foal had worn them for one season and then outgrew them. i bought them for £15 each so no more than £10 for one needing repaired.

I'd pay up to £20 I reckons.....I only ever buy second hand rugs!!! I quite like the feeling of being thrifty....and once my horse has laid in poo and given it a good ol' roll around...you can't tell if it's brand spanking new or second hand!! PLUS...I hate buying a new rug as it's so clean, I don;t like putting it on as it will get dirty...weird...I know!

Personally if I have a rug like that, that is perfectly serviceable, but not worth much on the 2nd hand market the I give them to my local horse sanctuary. I cannot afford to make huge donations, but by giving them something that I will see little financial gain from helps them as they can spend their money on other things!!

Fleabay pee's me off with all their charges that it generally isnt worth selling on there anyway!
