How much would you pay...

A friend to borrow her trailer for the day, well about 3 hours in total!!

Im thinking she will say i can have it for nothing but what would you be willing to pay?

Will be towed by my dad.

Need some ideas

If its only for 3 hours maybe about £20? And just make sure you clean it out after.

agree with rambo - we've borrowed YOs box when ours has been in the garage and we just make sure we replace the diesel and give her a bottle of wine.

Thing is its not a one off and i would like to borrow it maybe once every 2/3 weeks until winter really sets in.

Im sure she wont mind, she has a lorry too and the trailer is just sat there.

I always clean up after myself i will see what she says and go from there.

Well then you need to set up an agreement really. I would have said £10 everytime you use it personally and you fix anything you break!!

If you pay to borrow it(and have an agreement) does that not count as her being in the business of loaning out trailers, and therefore she will need insurance to cover this?
Or will it be in 'kind', like towards her livery or something?
