... Would you pay for a 13yo 16.2hh mare. Hasnt done anything for years, can jump but hasnt for ages. Is unfit and rather rounded! Says its bred to jump, but has no winnings and not been to comp for years.
Not novice ride at all. Does hack out on its own or in company though. Good to handle, is coming back in to proper work now.
??????

Hmm, interesting!!!! Its up for 4k including tack and some rugs!! I nearly fell over when I read the ad.
Its advertised as an allrounder, but what the advert fails to mention is that the horse has been out of work for ages and if you wanted to see it jump when you go an try it, you couldnt, coz its too unfit and hasnt jumped in ages!
Oh well, when Im asked why the horse hasnt sold in a years time, maybe I tell her!!

I paid £900 for the 16.1hh version of that back in 1995. Very well bred, jumped to Grade B allegedly then tendon issue, cr*p broodmare, then was a hack to incompetent rider and totally unfit/slightly crackers when I got her, hardly ridden in years. I'd say £1500 allowing for inflation would be fair.
