How much would you pay for the below horse:-

16.2hh 9yo chestnut gelding.
Breeding 3 quarter TBH with quarter cob (so has good bone)
Has competed BN and Discovery with DC in both, has scope to go further as has huge jump.
Has competed unaff XC and dressage has been placed both.

Is not a novice ride as has unpredcitable and spooky?

What does he do when unpredicatable?

£3500 as spooky and unpredictable, depending on how bad this was otherwise around £5k, again depends on how much money he's won.

£3.5K max. Paid £3.2K for my boy although they wanted 4 and he is a similar profile but with recognised sire and safe hack, only one year older. Only his flatwork let him down but a few months of hard work has put that right. However, if unpredictable and spooky is nothing more than any other horse (but not safe enough for a real novice) then I would maybe pay a little more for his experience.

He is very sharp, doesnt do well with fools riding him.

Can be a bit dodgy on the road, as in has problems standing still and spooks at a twig!!

Think of talking with friend with an abusive boyfriend...always making excuses why if she just didn't do X, Y & Z, he'd be wonderful and not hitting her...think of these description of this boy: "Dodgy....spooks at a twig...unpredictable...sharp...has problems standing still...doesn't so well with fools riding him"

Phew! Gimme' Two!!

There are way too many kind and non-dramatic horses out there in this price range without all the warnings and concerns of this horse.

Do you want to be always riding as if on ice? Waiting for just the wrong flutter in the woods next to a x-country course that'll put him in the stands. Stadium jumping sure takes place in ring with no distractions.

I'd suggest, "Run Away!" (per Monty Python's, "The Holy Grail")
