11 year old, Haflinger gelding, Rig, 14.2hh.

Perfect temp, good with other horses, will plod all day but has an old injury on back leg which means he is very short and uncomfortable in trot so can only really be used as a walking plod.

Needs lots of TLC and condition.

How much would you offer?

sorry, but i would stay away from it, you don't know what effect the old injury will have later on in life,

OK, if you weren't bothered about him being a rig, and could cope with any further complications with his injury......

How much?

He's not worthless, as I said he is a perfect plod and will walk all day, hacks out alone and in company. He is currently used in a trekking centre.

He has an uncomfortable trot....so makes him useless and worthless does it? Gurr!

Even the 'meat man' would pay at least £500!!

IMO a horse who is not sound shouldn't be being ridden. So he may seem fine in the walk, but he might just be very honest which hides the pain

I would only see him as a companion, for a value I wouldn't say any more than his 'meat money' value
