Just wondering, not me selling,

14 year old ex-race horse. 15.3 - 16hh ish I'm not sure exactly, grey mare.

Has once been well schooled I assume as within 1 ride she was starting to come round but obviously very rusty. Can get fizzy if doesn't get worked a lot/regularily, and then does like spanish horse leap things.

Works at a riding school, goes first/last in a rubber snaffle but can be strong. Doesn't make a nice shape over fences but never stops, isn't very careful. Rushes her jumps. Sensible enough to do gymkarna games and a riding school version of team chasing without getting stupid, just a bit strong.

No idea about vices/shoeing/clipping/loading ect but good to catch.

Not a lot I was thinking?

Total guess but I suppose £850 -1,000 as it is unproven. Bit more if it is pretty. Sounds like it might be a fun sort for RC/hunting.
Riding school horses can go one of two ways IME either they totally come into their own with individual care and attention or they go mental due to the reduction in work.
I've seen a few horses that were bomb proof novice rides in the riding school environment but when the went to private homes they just couldn't cope. It's a bit like people buying from pro riders - the horse you are seeing is kept to a strict routine ridden every day, sometimes for several hours, is it going to be the same if you take it home change it's routine and only ride three times a week? That's a really hard call to make.

Thats true - ex-race horse who the way I saw her was in 4 hours of work a day.

Though did have oats in her feed.
Thanks
