Do you think I would have to pay someone to take my dog away??

Well it was always going to happen at some point, today Otto reverted to Satan's Spawn Dog

We took him on what we thought was going to be a lovely walk in the Cotswolds, Otto had other plans!! He was mental, running around like a pillock, refusing to come back and just generally being very naughty

As it was a hot day and despite his earlier naughtiness I thought I'd be nice and take him in a lake for a paddle, on the lead.
As he was so good and never goes very far in the water (famous last words) I stupidly took his lead off.... cue Otto deciding today was the day to become a water baby and heading off for the middle of the lake!

Ah well, that's dogs for you

On the plus side,
- Otto now most definately swims, not paddling just out of his depth
- He ran around a stubble field so many times he is now utterly shattered

Bloomin' animals

He was terrified of it at first (something to do with convincing himself the lake was firm ground and running across it as a puppy, and going headfirst under!!) hence why I was sure he would stay close off the lead in the water

He is most certainly a fan of water now!!

Even getting him for free would be a rip off, he was a horror today! Kept catching things out of the corner of his eye and just bolting
mad.gif
I've told him if he does it again I'm going to go home without him

After he has been soooo good this week too!

Oh, we seemed to be perfecting that today
mad.gif

Wouldn't have been too bad, but there was a rather irate angler nearby

I was trying desperately to get him back but that clearly wasn't good enough for this man, although he was either extremely brave or very stupid, as he kept threating to put a hook in Otto's head despite the looks my 17 stone, 6ft4, rugby-playing OH was giving him....

(Before anyone asks why he was off the lead near fishermen in the first place - I always make an effort to have him on his lead/under control near Anglers, however these ones turned up after he was off the lead and bogging off, and continued to cast in our direction despite seeing the dog had obviously peforated both eardrums diving in the water and had gone deaf!!

Hooray for swimmy Otto!

Boo hiss for miserable fishermen - get Otto to do a Barney and eat their bait, then they'd have something to moan about, the miserable fekkers

*sniggers*

Yellow Dog decided today was a good day to chase down a remote control boat and bugger off with it. The owner was not best impressed...
