would you expect to pay for a 10 -12 year old mare 15.2 good to do in all ways. fab jump both showjumping and cross country, lovely straight paces would make a nice working hunter , competed at Riding Club level.

£2500 if passed vet

ok well they are asking about £8k for her and she is ridden in a pelham, no vices, 100% on the roads, good to do. would make a potential eventer probably up to Novice -

does this make the price go up a bit more

£3500 IMO

£8000 is a lot as only seems to have done Riding Club.

Don't think the potential to do Novice Eventing would put the price up as she hasn't a record of any eventing. If she had a good records at Intro or PN then it would be different.

However, if she is the one for you and you don't mind paying this sort of money then??

£8000 is alot! £5000 maximum I would think, if she has potential to be doing novice BE.

But I would expect to pay less than that personally, no more than £4000.

£8000 is way too much - I would expect to have at least won some money for that.....

I've no doubt she is a nice sort but if she's not done anything much and has no real breeding lines then about £3000 I'm afraid!

Wouldn't pay more than 4k because of the age however if she's right for you then go for it, especially if your looking for something to keep for life, only effects re-sale value as they get older. Have to say though you could get a lot for 8k elsewhere

8k is farrr too much! Unless it's a complete stunner, but even then it's 'old'. I would be thinking 4K max!

Saying "has the potential" does not mean it can,,

Like, I have the potential to run for 2 miles, well I have got two legs but on a good day I'd be lucky to be able to run up the stairs. lol
