I've always gone up at least 2 times a day, morning and evening. since losing my TB nearly 2 years ago i've been even more anal about it and make sure i check on them by 10 am at the latest , mine are all out 24/7.
Talking to others on the farm where we livery I was quite surprised at how many only visit once a day and rely on the fact that other people passing the field would soon tell them if their horse was in trouble in any way

I see mine twice a day - morning and night, and they are fed, checked, rug changed etc.
If I have any concerns - one seems off-colour or the weather is very bad, I may pop up and check them more often...and if any of them are ill, I have been known to alternate night checks with my OH and friends.
My fellow liveries are both knowledgeable and helpful, though - and will check mine if they see anything unusual - all lying down, rug ripped or whatever. And I return the favour.

A minimum of twice a day.

If he is in I am always there by 730 to feed and turn out but in the summer if he is living out it is closer to 9.

During the week I often pop in on a lunch break too.

I go once a day unless I go up in the morning and then again in the evening.
We have ours fed in the morning for us and checked so we dont have to.
I do spend a while at the yard when I am there.

When Misty was at home I went twice a day...when her and herbs were at a yard I went once but YO checked them in the am and at uni it depended...went once when they were in because we shared so one would turn out and one would bring in but when they were out I'd pop up twice but it depended on lectures etc as to when I went.

I'm blessed as mine are two mins from house and I only work mornings so I see them four times a day - once at 6.30am to feed / turnout, lunchtime-ish to bring them back in / ride, 6.30pm to feed and 9pm last check. Weekends are slightly different as I don't get up quite so early!

I go twice a day when I can, I'm a 20 min drive from the yard and if I'm not working I go twice day, he's in at night but was out 24/7, I still went morning and evening. But I work shifts (waitressing and at a hair salon) so sometimes cann't make it in the evening or the morning so a friend will turn out/bring in and I return the favour. I still like to ride every day, or five days a week as my horse is on a fittening regime. I take my time at the yard as well and we all keep an eye out for each others horses.

mine are out 24/7 now so I only go once (as there is nothing to be done the other end of the day).

They are in a field directly behind the field owners house, so if something major was up they would call me.

Twice a day, every day.

And I always glance at the other horses in my field and look at surrounding fields too. I know the other liveries do the same when they check theirs.

Morning and night, my horses are at my mum and dads so they get looked at at various times during the day too which I am very fortunate to have as an advantage. Had mine on livery for a while last year while I sold my TB and couldn't believe how little people look at their horses and rely on others to do it for them!

once a day at moment - they are out 24/7 but my buddy goes twice a day and we are never there at the same time so they are checked 3 times a day. The neighbouring paddocks to which there are two and contained two horses in each - one of them calls 3 times per week and the other is about 4/5 times a week. One of those ladies suggested that we help each other out in winter. I think she is after free labour in winter and since I work full time and it takes me an hour to get there and visa versa, and im a mum, wife chief cook and bottle washer that aint gonna happen!

Twice a day .. yard checked her in the morning, I'd check in the evening.
I would urge anyone who doesn't to start .. I went up and found my mare with a broken leg (found after by X-rays) and massive wound at 3pm ... she had been checked at 10am
I hate to think the pain she would have been in if I had just 'left the yard to check'

Sadly she is gone now ... but any horse of mine will always be checked 2x a day when out.

I go up twice a day, every day. She lives out 24/7. I also glance at the pony that is there and if its first thing in the morning take my friends horses rug off. I poo pick twice a day and check waters. There are 2 other liveries who come up later than me and we all keep an eye on each others horses and water. It works well.

I see mine all the time I only have to look out of the window or over the garden fence. I know I'm lucky.

At least twice, but its not always us. The girl who rides one of our ponies goes twice a day, with her experienced Mother so someimes they do the horses and cats for us to give us a break. If the weather is really bad sometimes up to 4 times a day. They all live out 24/7, ages range from 2 to 25yrs.

Ours are at home, so sister checks first, I give the ma quick coat of looking at before I go to work, who ever is home first gives them a look over, then tea time, when closer look, pop out during the evening, then last check around midnight when the dogs are fed and put in the kennel, we are not paranoid, honest!

Twice a day.

Always up at stables in winter to turn out by 6:50 and bring in by 6ish at night.

They are out 24/7 just now but go up to stables at 7am to check on them and fly spray them and back up again straight after work at 5:45. Then spend at least 2 hours with them between riding, grooming, feeding, poo-picking and topping up with fly spray.

Takes up my whole bl**dy life but what else would I be doing!!!!!
