How often do you clip?

I clipped donovan about 4 weeks ago, that was his 2nd clip of the season. he now has long hairs aroundf the top of his legs but the rest of him doesnt really look like it needs clipping.
What do i do? Just leave it, or clip just his legs?

I clip when she starts to sweat again when being ridden, then I whip it all off again. I find her neck grows in first with longer hairs (I don't use neck rugs though) but I just clip whole body again when she starts to sweat. She has been clipped twice this year. I may give one more clip at the end of this month then that will be her for summer.

if they're just cat hairs put your coarse blades on and just run over the bits where they are to tidy him up

Or I used to put a comb on my trimmers and do it that way. If you have combs for them
