How many times do you jump in a week? and do you think it affects how they are?
Mystic loves jumping but recently has been putting in more refusals when we are out (it is known for him to sometimes have a refusal in the first class then be fine after).
1st show of this year he had a refusal in each class, different fence each time.
2nd time out was ODE - no refusals in SJ or XC but during the week i had been focusing on the dressage, just popped over a jump a few times in the school the day before.
3rd show - refusal in 1st class, clear next two and came 2nd & 3rd, no lesson and jumped at home in the school.
4th show - refusal in each class, had jumped in a lesson on wed and at home in field on fri.
I have been out every sunday for the past 3 weeks so am wondering if i shouldn't jump at home, or just jump once a week in my lesson.
