Your horses backs, teeth and saddles?
I was shown by my back man how to check a horses back myself so I can pick up on an little pain rather than wait until something bad happens.
I check my horses and the guys at work at least once a week. Ideally I should everytime I groom.
I checked the guys at work to day and our new guy (came on Fri) was a little sore in a couple of places. The back man is coming out to do a hock with his magic machine so we'll get him to check him then.
I got a couple of vids of him.
You can't really see it in the first vid but he dips when I press about a hand from his withers and again about his loin area.
In the second vid I think his ears say it all!
I thought his pain might be from his saddle and sure enough it doesn't fit him. I don't think his owner is going to be happy with us.

I was also shown how to check a horses teeth, not that I do it that often I like my fingers!

Teeth once a year, back/saddle not as often as I would like, my instructor is training in that area, and so checks him regularly. If anything comes up I would not hesitate to contact my lovely back lady.

teeth once a year.
saddles/back if theres a problem. Both parents doctors though and don't believe in physio/chiros!

Teeth: Once a year, or as advised if a previous problem.
Back: Physio will check horses when first coming into work, then after a few weeks. Then another check before/in between they race. All have their backs done just before being roughed off, and again after they have been out in the field for a few weeks.
Any inkling of anything being wrong and they are both checked within days.
Bloods: Every new horse/horse coming into work will have a blood run. If a problem, will be double checked after 2 weeks.
Blood generally checked 3 weeks before race.
Scopes: Every horse coming from another yard (ie from sales) will be scoped (not ones coming into work from field). Every horse gets scoped during the week before they run.
Saddle: I use half trees which fit every horse. I do have ahunting saddle which my physio checks before I use it on a horse.

Back - whenever there's a problem/ back person has scheduled a re-check.
Teeth - every year (really must book in, eek!)
Saddle - six months to a year after fitting a new one, then whenever there's a problem/ big change in shape of horse etc.
I try to schedule Maiden's teeth and vaccs to be done together, even though the dentist does her teeth and not the vet, as otherwise I'd forget! Back lady would probably be called after a saddle fitting if they were both needed at the same time.

Teeth - annually
Back - usually half way through hunting season and again at the end before her hols.
Saddle - not normally done at all (once they are fitted correctly to them, usually done when I buy horse and again when they are at cubbing fitness. By Feb/March they have big fat numnahs.) but I haven't had this one checked since I bought ned and now shes got a bald spot and saddler is coming out Friday

Teeth, feet, vet, back and new saddle..... I think I need another job... We usually get teeth done yearly although 6 monthly for tb who had/has a problem. Back as and when needed 3 months or so usually, will be more when doing more competing... Saddle's... well we never seem to stick with one for long, so I can't really say, it's been a new saddle every 6 months or so for the past few years...

Why is it just my horse? Mares due for injections and tb needs vet check over and feet are done every 8 weeks though it might move to twelve... (don't bite my head of for that, they are barefoot, and the farrier travels a long way to get to us, I rasp their feet every two weeks to keep on top of them and level out any flares, as recomended by said farrier)

I'm so scared... I've got an exam tommorow and I'm avoiding the revision. eeek I just can't bring myself to do it.
