how often should you worm

My friend has her horse on a livery yard on full livery and the YO gives her a bill every other month for wormer is this normal

I worm every 6 weeks plus additional wormers at certain times of the year so i would say this was quite normal.

Normally you worm every 6 to 13 weeks depending on the type of wormer.

Depends on the wormers used, could be 6 - 13 weeks, every eight weeks is very common.

twice a year, i do worm counts and paddocks are worm free.

any incoming sell-on's are wormed, and stay in the sell-on paddock.

blimey, i have on average 15/20 ponies here at one time i'd be out in the paddocks ALL DAY!!!

I use www.abbeydiagnostics.com for my worm count, then worm for bots and tapeworm at appropriate times of the year as the test doesn't include these.

Me too, Chris is just fab with advice. I manage to keep a <50 epg, but it will be different n a livery yard (as OP)
