Hi, I rent out a few stables as DIY livery. I have seen that prices for what I offer have gone up substantially (about €15) since I first started the livery, 2 years ago.
What is the norm for livery fee increases? How much and how often?

I suppose they go up if they need to go up.

I liveried at the same yard for 10 years, and only experienced one price rise.

I had in my livery contracts that livery costs would be reviewed annually in July. Any increase would be notified by end of July and the increased payment due from 1st Sept.

I increased livery twice in 12 years.

Dont increase for the hell of it to keep up with others, work out what is fair, give clients plenty of notice.

Local well run yard (best managed yard I’ve come across) does an annual price increase, explained to all liveries on arrival. They put significant investment into the yard which comes at a cost. (Doesn’t stop the liveries moaning though!)
Depends on the justification on the increase - but if it’s your source of income, presumably your costs to run/maintain the place have gone up over time and you need to increase the price in line with that.
But if the liveries are very DIY and you are quite hands off, it might be difficult to explain an increase to longstanding liveries and could backfire and cause more aggro than it’s worth.
