Go for it!!
I took Pairs last year as a three year old; she did four hunts and loved every min.
Hunted her all season this year and jumped everything..
Good luck xx

That sounds very young but I'm a scardy cat :smirk:.
Talking about a different type of hunting......I took my daughter mink hunting when she was 3 weeks old, she was quite happy in a harness in front of me :)

I took mine as a 4yr old, but knew the hunt very well so knew all the routes well. Wouldnt advised it unless you know the country, and we only popped a few ditches and little post and rail.

Is this about children or young horses?

Some posts sound like they are about horses

Some about children.

If its about children our hunt is FULL of leadrein ponys and children who can't reach the end of the saddle with their feet!

Took my first 2 horses as 4 yr olds. My 3rd one went for the first time at 17 (he was 15 when I had him). The 4th one went at 7, but she wasn't broken until she was 5.

Daredn't take this one!
