I have just ordered some new stirrup leathers after realising mine are at least 14yrs old! They aren't that worn but better be safe than sorry.
I have a spare bridle, purely because it is too small for my guys that is at least 16yr old and I would still use it if I had a smaller head to put it on.
My old saddle (part exchanged for Gyp's new one) was 15yrs old and still going.
And I have a pony bridle that is about 20yrs old and there is nothing wrong with that either.

Not very.... my saddle is just under a year old and my bridle is 4months old..... I migrated from black to brown not so long ago.....

Not that old, brought two new saddles at the end of last year. My brown bridle I brought just over a year ago when I started to back Bodey, and my black bridle I brought just after I brought my saddles. However my girth is Ella’s old girth so must be about 6 years old.

got saddle that I bought second hand not sure how old but definitely old as an old style of saddle. Bridle I got new when I got horse about 5 years ago. Oldest thing would have to be my black wool show jacket I bought it for £15 second hand from a tack shop, I could see that it was old by lining but at first show felt something in pocket and it turned out to be a scheduel (sp?) from 1988!!! and no idea how old before that!

Forgot to add. Found a leather headcollar at work that going by the name plate is at least 35yrs old as I know the horse wore it in 1972.

my saddle is about 30years old and still does everything it needs to and i don't no how old my bridle is but it must be about 30 years old as my mum had it and someone gave it to her...

I have a running mart which has ivory rings on it which belonged to my great Grandad! I also have a bridle with a sheepskin noseband which was my Grandads. One of my saddles will be about 40 years old and the one I ride in will be about 20 but is of such good quality that its in perfect condition. They dont make em like they did!

My Jeffries bridle is at least 12 years old and looks like new. My saddle is probably 18 years old (I bought it second hand) and again is in excellent condition. If you buy good leather, it should last a lifetime if it's well looked after. I always use a synthetic bridle if it rains though as I hate my bridle getting wet. I also have a cottage craft headcollar, which gets used every day and that's 17 years old but starting to wear a bit thin in places!!

My schooling bridle is about 6 years old and show tack 5 years old, saddle only a year old as replaced after other saddles where stolen

saddle is about 5 years old but I only got it 2 months ago, before that I had a wintec for 8 years! My everyday bridle is 6 years old and will be replaced soon, my show bridle is two years old and used about four times! My show saddle is two years old ish but used a handful of times.

My saddle and bridle are both less than a year old. My harness is cobbled together to fit the ever changing shape of my horse. But I would say that the breast harness and traces, and the saddle are at least 25-30 years old.....

My saddle is 3 years old but I'm selling it and getting another cos it just doesn't fit which is a shame because it's a beautiful saddle and my bridle is 4 months old.

Ideal event saddle is 10years old and bridle is about 5 years old.....

Schooling stick which i keep in the trailer for emergencies when loading is about 32 years old..... .(shows how often I use it)!!!

Bridle must be at least 10 years old. Bought second hand but still in lovely condition.

Reins are gorgeous Sabre ones & I reckon they must be 20ish years old. Stitching is all good & there are no weak areas so still safe to use
