I surprised myself thismorning, my alarm didnt go off  so I was half an hour over schedule!

Normally I get everything done up the yard in a about an hour . This includes .... Feeding 6, turning out 6, changing two horses rugs, mucking out my stable, water, feed, & haynet all ready for tonight. And getting changed for work in my stable...very glam ;)

I managed to do this in just under 40 minutes!!! shows what you can do when you put your mind to it

So it made me wonder, how quickly do you get yours done?? Bit of a light hearted post for the hump of the week

Me and my sister do 5 in about 25-30 mins. So turning 2 out (rest are out 24/7), mucking out 2, haying in the field, feeding the cat, and changing any rugs that need changing for the daytime (inc ones from stables) If its icy and we have to defrost things like the padlocks it take longer. I think it takes me about 45 mins on my own. :)

Everything for the evening is done in the evening, stables are left up to air in the daytime.

Did three this morning in forty mins, that included feeding, turning out and mucking out but two of the stables we just take all the straw out daily as they're so wet!

20 minutes to feed, skip out, change water, pick out feet, feed cat, turn out and put some more straw down. The jobs which are most time consuming are making up feeds and walking to the muck heap. If I'm late I leave it by the pig sheds and the pig man takes it with his muck. I do haynet after work.

It takes me an hour to feed two, turn them out together and muck out mine, getting everything ready for the evening as a grieve brings him in

Sorry for typos, on my phone. A friend brings him in. I would be quicker but the field is a long walk from the yard!

I turn out 7 and muck out mine doing feeds hay and water and it takes about an hour. If its not my morning for turning out, fastest i have done my stable, water hay and feeds has been 20 mins. I was heading out or a night out after college so was highly motivated that day :D

Luckily my lad is quite consistent - always poos and pees in the same place so very easy to muck out when in a super fast hurry.

It takes me about 20mins to; change rug, turn out or put on walker, muck out, sweep front, haynet, water, and bring back in if she's on the walker.

30 mins to feed and turnout 5, move two strip fences (the time consuming bit!) and wash water buckets, oh, and feed my chickens! Mucking out gets done in the evening!
