I was poo picking today and Manni came over to see what I was up to. He turned away and lifted his tail so I quickly put the bucket under there and caught the poo he was doing. After he finished he looked round at me and the expression on his face was priceless - he looked like he was wondering what on earth I was doing!

my horse always does that but usually poohs when i have finished, or if im not carefull then hell tip my wheelbarrow over.

if mine is tied up outside his stable he will actually reverse up to the wheel barrow and poo in it. In his stable he has a poo tray, a narrow shallow tray that he reverses up to and poos in. Mucking him out is so fast and easy.

My mare has a poo corner in both her stable and her field - she will never poo in the school - she has to go to the muckheap first to poo before she goes in.

mine (both) always poo when we are picking up the poo in the field, and when they enter the stable they wee, I catch that as well!!!!

I might try that with my other one - Toby - he is very clean in his stable and only poos in one corner and not on the bedding either!

Mine has a poo-corner...I scrape a square of shavings away and he poos onto the concrete.....5min job to muck out....if I left the Trug and scoop in his stable he would prob. do it himself!
