Could anyone help me please?

It's been properly built with drainage etc & I had my first ride just now!! Soooo exciting!!

Unfortunately the contractors left while o/h was taking the lorry for its MOT (it passed! yay!!) so he didn't get any directions re aftercare.

It will just be me using it with one horse for 45 mins a day. Does it need raking? Rolling? Watering? How often? What's the best way to do it? (We don't have a towing vehicle as we've got the lorry & 2 'normal' cars.)

Any help would be much appreciated!!

I made a leveller out of 2 tyres and 2 planks tied it with string and attached it to my car and drive the car around the arena.Works fine.Ours is now 5 years old and needs some thing doing to it,like a top up. Ours has no drainage it was built on lorry loads of road plainings then 8" of cushion ride on top ,inside a log surround. It was perfect for 3 years then started to go mushy. Now it depends on the weather, but you will find it great for quite a while

Wouldn't it be best to call the contractors & ask them? some surfaces have to be left to settle for a certain time before you ride on them. You're so lucky, our arena is POO!!
