My horse has gone in today for a tooth extraction (molar tooth in his upper jaw/cheek)

It is a question I will ask my vet but just wondered in other peoples experience, providing the extraction goes smoothly, how soon was you able to ride?

TIA

My friend's pony has just had a molar out, and I'm fairly sure she had a check up at 2 weeks after, could lunge at 3 weeks, and ride 4 weeks post extraction.

Hope this helps.

My gelding had 209 removed in early January. We were given the all-clear to start very light work after two weeks. I rode a couple of times but wasn’t totally convinced he was comfortable so we shelved it for a further fortnight. He was definitely happier then.
