okay, so I am fairly new on here, but can someone please tell me how to attach a picture onto a) a new thread and b) when commenting on existing threads.

I have looked and looked and pressed all kinds of buttons and I am flumoxed .. and yes just plain daft, I know! :confused::confused::D
 
Aha! I just had to work that out. In the reply box you click on the add image icon which is the one with a thing that looks like a mountain with a postage stamp in the corner. When it wants the URL you have to paste in from photobucket or something like that, the little string that sits under the picture and starts [/IMG]

Not sure if that makes sense. I think you can probably use Flickr too but I only use PB.

Have you got a photobucket account? Upload your pictures to
Photobucket then copy the IMG code I think it is and paste it to your post or an existing post and go advance to check it has worked at the bottom of your reply box.
If that makes any sense what so ever lol :)

I am even more confused now ... what is a photobucket account?

Photo bucket is an online photo. Storage and editing site. Ou can get an app too.

You upload your pics and then photo bucket gives you a link code that you copy and paste into your reply.

I don't have a symbol for adding images and when I looked at my forum rules (in the bottom left corner when you are posting new thread) it had a list of what I could/couldn't do and it said I cannot post attachments - which I guess includes images...

Could it be because I am on an iPad??

My god, Magicmillbrook, you are right!! My B is a 15hh, 8 year old Gyspy Vanner Cob, bred by romany's and shipped to the UK in 2010.

This is him about 2 months after I got him ...

Sorry - havent been on H&H for a few days. No idea about my boys breeding other than he came from Great Yarmouth in Norfolk, hois previous owner had him from 6 months, the showing picture is of him last year as a 3 year old (with his old owner), he is now 4 1/2. His owner was hoping he would make 15hh but he is only 14hh.
