Is it possible?? i really want to feed it for all the benefits. Mobility, skin, coat ect but having good doers i am worried that they will become too fat. They are all just right with careful management at the moment.
Is it wishful thinking on my part or can it be done?
thanks

You can certainly feed enough to get the skin and coat benefits, just a small amount should help with this. If you want mobility benefits you'll need to feed more, 100g upwards, which will impact on weight to some degree.

I throw a big pinch in to my boy's feed. His coat and skin are lovely but it's not enough to put weight on him, which is good as he doesn't need it.

Yes, my lad has had about a mug full a day and it has never really noticeably put any weight on him (welshie good doer who was out of work when he started on it).

I give my Sec D a mug full and the Sec A's just over half a mug. No noticeable weight gain but everything else is low cal molasse free.

My boy's metabolic and within his bespoke diet (hard feed wise) he gets 100gms of Linseed a day in his feed.

He's an extremely good doer so i watch him like a hawk. This amount seems to give him all the benefits it's deemed to, but without any kind of weight increase.

My chap gets 2 x heaped 1/2 American 'cup' scoops. One am and one pm works out about 120g per day. He's not put on any extra weight but his coat is gleaming and is a lot less greasy - wish I put him on it sooner :0)
