I've been reading lots of things about this food and it sounds perfect for my laminitic which i plan to start feeding it to asap along with Pro Hoof. The problem i've got is what do i mix it with as it looks like a powder so surely you can't just feed it like this and you need to put it with something but i've been told that sugarbeet and alfalfa based products aren't suitable for laminitics so what's the best thing to use?

I mix mine with Speedibeet, which is perfectly suitable for a laminitic as it is unmollassed. Alternatively, Fast Fibre would be a good option.

I mix mine with hi fi molasses free and his supplement but as said above, fast fibre or speedibeet is fine, just not huge amounts. Its the amount of sugar And starch in feeds you have to watch out for, not just sugar content with laminitics

I feed my laminitic 10hh this but only in small quantities - half a coffee mug or less for him with a couple of handfuls of hi fibre chaff. Linseed is very high in protein so in my opinion only suitable to feed in small quantities. My larger horses (17hh and 15hh) get a mugfull each per day in their winter feed.

Linseed is a fab feed and very low sugar and starch so in my mind its great for laminitics who need weight gain but I would be careful with ones that are already porky or hold weight well. Speedibeet or fast fibre is a good base feed.

I feed my youngster 2 mugs of pelleted balancer and 1 mug of linseed plus water - the linseed soaks up the water really well

There are two types of sugar beet products 1] molassed nuts [soak 12 hours] which are NO NO

and 2]unmolassed flakes [soak 15mins], contain less than 5% sugar which is fine for laminitcs, in moderation.
