How to find a bridle with no flash?!?

Hello, I hope everyone had a nice Christmas :-)

I am looking for a new dressage bridle for my welsh cob, and can hardly find any without a flash! I'd really like one wiht a padded headpiece and a noseband that threads over the top of the headpiece, and ideally silver padding on the noseband and browband - but it's impossible to find one without a flash let along all the other stuff! does anyone know of any websites or anything that do these?!

Also, i saw one the other day where the noseband attached to the cheekpieces, rather than having the headpiece bit in its pown right - but have forgotten where i saw it and am quite liking the idea now!!! anyone know what these are called/if they are ok? I only need noseband for decoration, not control or anything, so as long as it would sit nicely that would be fine!

Bridle makers seem to assume that we all want/need to strap our horses mouths shut.

I got an Elevator bridle in the end and because they make them to your specifications they made me one with a standard noseband. Might be worth a try? I dont know about the silver colour, but they were the originators of the comfort headpiece so that should will be OK
 
I got mine from cotswold sport (cotswold sj on here), it has a comfort headpiece, and although I went for the flash noseband when I bought it I think they would be willing to do a different noseband if you ask. I've had my bridle for 2 yrs now and really pleased with it.
 
IF you can't buy a ready made without a flash loop on the noseband, ask your local saddler to take it off and restitch it across,it's a five minute job!

i have an Albion comfort bridle with the padded head, noseband goes over etc and it has a plain noseband.

you do have to search hard for them without a flash now!
 
Jeffries sell all the separate components that make up a bridle so you can buy the pieces you want in the style you want & the size you want & the leather is really good quality.
