How to find grazing to buy/rent?

As in title, how do i go about finding a small amount of grazing to rent/buy? Really struggling to find grass livery for my horse so my other option is to rent a small bit of land and get him a companion. I've tried everyone local that i can think of asking, none of the farmers want horses on their land! Any ideas where i can look? Needs to be Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border?

we found our field by putting an add on the internet. Before that we found grazing by just driving around the area and asking.

have a drive round, chat to a few people to find out who owns land (or if see field why not leave a note on the gate) got to be worth a try - good luck x

I rent one of my fields from the council.

Try ringing your local council and ask if they have anywhere suitable. I have to put in a tender for mine every year. They are happy to rent it out because they want to keep it for development but have no plans to currently use it.

The only downside is that I am not allowed to put a shelter - even a temporary one - on the site but thankfully it's quite sheltered due to thick hedges.
