After been broken into and having 2 wheelbaroows, fence battery and charger, feed buckets, water buckets, poo scoop, hay, haynet ..........stolen I am now desperate to find somewhere new to keep my horses.

I have exhausted google and contacted council etc, adtrader, haynet....you name it im there, hay man, tack shops, feed shops lol

Any ideas where i find land to graze and stable horses in Milton Keynes/Bucks???

weve been looking for years for our own land. Whenever it came up for sale it was either taken down before auction or sold for extreme amount. I rent a field off a farmer and have done for the past 3-4 years. I just apporached him one day and he gave me the sole use of it.

Any farmers around where you are?

When I was looking for a new place I literally rode up driveways where I saw empty fields. If it's good enough for Pikeys, it's good enough for me, lol! I did get a couple of people who refused, but one of them pointed me over the road to somewhere I hadn't seen. I found the most fantastic place and a lovely old guy who I became friends with. I found it helped to take the pony (one of 2), as he's a right little charmer and it breaks the ice with a lot of people.

we really want some of our own land and stables (purely for our own convenience put abby back on shavings, basically be able to do our own thing etc) but can't find anything we'd even be willing to move house, but were in the scottish borders

abbey_tilly - any where, im not fussy!! I keep them in wavendon at the moment and work in mursley so any where between great brickhill, woburn to mursley or whaddon!!

I have written to lots of farmers and the land round here seems very isolated with no houses. Im waiting for my hay man to come back off holiday so i can pick his brains for places, he knows EVERYONE!!
