ok im gona bother yas all again about bits!
how do you make sure your bit is the right size?
i was told that an average horse wears a 5in bit, my horse whos 15.3hh connemara X was in a 5in D-ring bit but i was told it was too small, i changed him to a hanging check with revolver in 5.5 but again its too small, im ragin because i was told to go up a half an inch by the tack stop so i got them to order me the bit in, when i brought it home i knew instantly it was too small, the shop has a no returns policy on bits so i cant bring it back and i spent £25 quid on it and ive no other horse i can use it on! im bloody rippin!
how can i make sure i get the right size bit this time, and what will i do with my new one? Help
