How to gain weight

Hi everyone, I'm currently struggling to out weight on my 15you tb, he has been of work for 2 years due to ks and this seems to be the downward spiral of his weight loss. He was still fed the same as he always is fed (before he went of with ks) I thibk he lost alot of weight due to being in pain, he is now sound and had the okay of the vet to start riding again, I'm just so worried about his current weight. He has a healthy appetite ad lib haylage (2 packed nets a night) and a morning and evening feed that consist of:
Fast fiber
Alla a oil
And spellers condition cubes
He is also given:
Biotin
Linseed power (the ready to use one)
I have ro be very careful about his diet he can't cope with high sugared foods( so that eliminates most conditioning feeds). His teeth are up to date, and he is fine on himself just stuck at how I can help him!
 
Has he been checked out by physio/osteo for any pain?

First suggestion would be to ditch the fast fibre. It's low calorie so won't be helping at all.

If he gets on with the spillers cubes, why just not give him more of those?

Other feeds to consider are copra, speedi beet, baileys keep calm, baileys outshine, ers pellets.
 
Allen and Page - Calm & condition is fab for putting weight on but with low sugar.

Does he exibit any other symptoms? Does he windsuck, crib bite or weave? Does he get annoyed with you when you do the girth up or the rug straps? Is he sensative around his stomach? Is he passing solid poo or is it loose/liquid? How much hay and grazing is he on?
 
Hi everyone he was regular vet/physio appointment and everything is completely find with him no issues with ulcers he exhibits no pain or even pain memory totally chilled out he was even chilled out with the ks only due to a slight lameness did anyone recognise he had ks even a reputable physio didn't spot the ks(wasn't severe case). I have cut his fastf down and introduced a feed balancer he seems to be putting on more weight he looks in good condition coat, hooves ect just slightly tucked he's wormed regularly ect I am hoping to find summer grazing for him as yard I'm on has very poor grazing I think this may not be helping he's put on more weight and muscle since being ridden again. I think his weight loss could have been down to bordem
